Volunteers from the LBA Woods Park Coalition were out on the town this weekend spreading the good word about the MPD–the Metropolitan Parks District–at the Olympia Farmers’ Market, Sand in the City Celebration, and Love Our Local celebrations. There were great crowds at all these venues and much interest and support for better funding of our city parks. Event-goers of all ages also enjoyed posing in our photo booth.

Look for us around town (Farmers’ Market, Olympia Food Coops, and other venues) to learn about how you can be part of our campaign for parks. The Metropolitan Parks District–Proposition 1–will be on the November 3 ballot.
