- Beaked Hazel (Corylus cornutus) male catkins.
- Turkey-tail Fungus (Trametes versicolor). Sign of fall, but lovely now.
- Big-Leaf Maple (Acer macrophyllum) lushly clad in several species of moss). Not strictly spring, but fun to pat now.
