The Olympia Parks Department wants to let you know how valuable you are to our park system. This is a very fun annual event with LOTS of really delicious food, awards, and happy park lovers.

The Friends of LBA Woods and Park’s Stewardship Program co-hosted lots of work parties this  past year, so if you’ve pulled some scotsbroom, hauled, ivy, planted trees and native shrubs, tackled and been attacked by Himalayan blackberry, yanked up yellow archangel or “stinky Bob”–this picnic is for you.

And it’s in the newly renovated Rose Garden shelter on the east side of Priest Point Park.  Ooooh! So cool when it’s hot outside. RSPV by August 20 if you can. See invite for details.
